This is Spot’s preview of the host venues and should give you a bit more of an understanding of the individual stadiums and their surrounding areas. He gives you a small taster of the history and geographical setting of each of the host cities, together with an idea of the local professional football sides who have used the individual stadiums. Some of the teams are household names and others, I for one, have never heard of.

Finally Spot lists the World Cup games that will be held in each location.
