Today sees the final group matches in Group D, with Iceland v Croatia and Nigeria v Argentina, both at 1900 (NOT helpful, I'll watch one and keep tabs on the other). While Croatia are already through to the last 16, things aren't so clear cut for the other qualifying place, with Iceland, Nigeria and Argentina all in with a chance.

Iceland played well against an out-of-form Argentina but then came unstuck against a Nigeria side who showed what they can do. However, with Croatia already through, will they be that bothered about making it three wins from three, or will they make wholesale changes and be content with a draw? That said, while Iceland played pretty badly against Nigeria last Friday, they could raise their performance against Croatia.

As for Argentina, they've been disappointing. I fully expected them to get through the group reasonably comfortably but now they're looking at the possibility of having to get an earlier flight back to Buenos Aires due to lethargic performances against a determined Iceland and an excellent Croatia. If they fail to beat Nigeria, they're going home.
