Game 4: South Korea1-2 Mexico
Group F: South Korea 1-2 Mexico
Rostov, 23rd June
This was the clincher really, could South Korea find any kind of form and could Mexico play decent football that wasn't based on "defend and break", the answers to those 2 questions are not really and yes.
I can't say it was a spectacularly entertaining match although there was a couple of very good goals, mostly though it underlined the fact that Mexico are going through and quite easily as well.
South Korea are a one-person team really, without Tottenham's Son, they haven't really got much in the way of outstanding talent.
Mexico however have quite a lot of very good talents that almost but didn't quite make it very big, nevertheless we know all of them and they seem to be pulling out of the bag for the national team. I think they are going to give future opponents some very interesting games.
