That made a mockery of a comment I made this morning, that opening games are usually a boring 0-0 draw. the Saudis were absolutely hopeless. It was men against babies. I really don't think that you can draw any conclusions from this result, but the Saudis really need to get players playing abroad, to get more experience and stop being so hopelessly naive.
Perfect start for the Russians and just shows what a motivator the thoughts of having to work in the Siberian Salt Mines was. Still, the double strike from Denis Cheryshev the Villareal midfielder, makes him the top scorer so far. Saudi Arabia's management team can plan their return home already.
